Another funny thing to discover – the great and ultimately html toast.

Why? Because toast is part of daily life in the UK. You can play with it, or you can even see things on toast?! Toast is always something that seems to fascinate people.

So, again, we googled “html toast” – and we found sites like today.com? However, it relates back so me Internet services that calls themselves Toast. Not sure why they called themselves Toast but guess it is something that sticks :-)

Btw, literally disturbing scene from 2:20 onwards ;-)

Not enough – why not download a toast ringtone.

As you can see, toast is more used in the sense of “toasting to someone” rather than the “French toast”. However, here are a few image examples. Hope that proves our point, there is “html toast“.

And at the very end, here is a link to another collection of classy food.

Dave,

That is a great article. You ever put “keyword soup” into google?

You can buy some pictures of keyword soup here.

Also, there is a picture tagged with keyword soup.

I am still buffeled why this site shows up for the keyword soup.

Interesting one here: Keyword:Soup – for SEO travel freaks!

Even multilingual :-) – check out this picture:

A keyword research or a keyword soup?

As Volker has been mentionning the keyword soup (his favourite!) quite often these last few posts, i though it would be useful to elaborate a bit more on this and really show you guys what we mean by keyword soup.

The term came from Volker on a messy night in York but after thoughts, it really does make sense and to me. When carrying out a keyword research for any onpage optimization related activity, the initial list of keywords targeted is always hard to break down or structure and always looks to me like a mix of keywords initially: a keyword soup, or there again some alphabetti spaghettis ;) .

Spam – yuck!

Dave,

Hope you have a good weekend too.

Spam is one of those things. Ever googled for some really funny pictures?

Also, you ever wondered how spamming and Viagra works? Here is a great article, really love it. Very explicit :-)

Maybe for our next keyword soup, we could do a cream spam keyword soup?

And, last but not least, what would the world be without a Spam Burger or Sandwich.

We could name it the International Spam Sandwich with tomatoes juice, free link-range seo-ggy egg and link-tuce and html toast? As a side order we could have some French link fries or Open Source Onion Links.

Link Building can be quite hard work

As you know, link building as one of the major factors contributing to good SEO ranking, can be quite hard work.

I looked into my PC the other day and found a few sweaty people there:

So, I put up the following sign:

Why?

Because link building is pro-active, but what we prefer and want to achieve with this blog, besides many reasons of course, is to create the effect of link baiting!

Of course, do not get it mixed up with bear baiting for instance. That is something cruel and completely different :-)

Link Baiting, as the graphic below shows nicely, is all about creating content people like, enjoy and want to link to. They digg.it, or put it on facebook to show others how great the content is. Social Media Link Building.

So good luck, we keep on trying. And, if you like it, add us on your favourite social bookmark!

Dead Links

I found the most awesome dead link site today. Check it out here!

I can only add:

It could have been on the Link Farm though :-) Thanks to Cartoon Stock for those ace images.

Another blog I found about link farming and links and from the looks of it speaking about food as well, is this one by Jeff Hobbs.

And, last but not least, check out ClickPoint’s site about all those illegal link building stuff. Wow, they are really serious about that :-)

Enjoy, I keep surfing the web and surely find some more stuff soon!

Hey,

I found a great article on Link Farming written by Kimberly. Really awesome what she is going on about. Well explained. Thank you!

Another site I found is all about the link:Farms :-) over in the US. So better watch out. It could look like that:

Following Google Search, I came across a site speaking about “Link:Farm Structures and Handling Systems” – maybe not an SEO site but surely a great way of displaying link farms too? Maybe we need to tweak the descriptions a bit :-)

Link Sourcing and Link Baiting

Here is a video I found – I really like it. You find out everything about link baiting – although he admits that he is not an expert :-)

Another site I found searching for some link sourcing was this site from Pacific Link Sourcing. To be honest, I don’t think this site has anything to do with link building in regards to SEO. With a flash site it is unlikely it will rank highly anyway, however it offers a good link across the pacific – I imagine at least ;-)

Oh, and people who still don’t know what is meant by link baiting, here we go again:
