Nice one Volker, I like it
I noticed that the guys at Ranked Hard SEO link to two other websites – Big Oak which have some optimised beans on their home page and John Cow who is apparently milking the internet since 2007.
Good to see more people linking food to search, keep it up!

Talking about being geeky, check out this SEO game at GameGarage.co.uk.
Other geeks have even set up in the past some directory contests. The idea was to index a given blog in your directory and see how fast it would become visible and how high it would rank. The top 10 directories won cash prizes.
Even Volker and I aren’t that sad
If that is not geeky, I don’t know
Well done from the guys from Base One Search.

Pagerank sculpting is a well-know link strategy that some websites adopt. Basically they nofollow links to pages on their site where they don’t want the link juice to flow, the link love to spread. For instance their contact page. I personally don’t really agree with this method as every single page of a website carries at least one link, I really see a site as a whole where less performing pages or CCTLDs will benefit from the stronger ones. I know many inhouse SEOs use this strategy, but to what extent should they push it?

It is Sunday so I thought – why not check out what is happening in the world of food and the search for food.
Happy Breakfast!
Why not focus our search today on some break fast, some cooked breakfast.
The following is great, isn’t it? A paradise. Need to take Dave there for a breakfast some day.
There are also some links for bacon, e.g. bacon links.

Interesting enough there is a media consultancy called cooked breakfast. What an awesome name!
So there we go. A big cooked breakfast to play with and some bacon links. Wonder what is coming next. Maybe some egg-links?
And, who thinks that we are totally mad and off our heads. There are other people writing about search engine food: Search Engine Food:
Search engine food is really no different than human food. Search Engines provide relevant information to the searcher. By planning your content using …
See, there is the proof that we are not mad – and, Search Engine Food lives and will be a great asset to have. You need to know how to feed the beast and make the most of the input to get, as usual, the best possible output.
Enjoy your Sunday Full English and, don’t forget to notice sausage link – there is even a sausage link factory. So there we go!
